MadLibs with Python

A WJJMS 8th grader was able to combine her Python coding skills along with her flair for creative writing to develop a user-controlled Mad Libs short story.  Check out her program - and become a part of the story - by visiting the link, https://repl.it/ElgY/11 (select Run at the top of the white screen and follow the instructions on the black screen)

NHL Challenge in Scratch

It took a lot of coding, and even more patience, to bring their initial game design to life, but NHL fans can now enjoy playing the official "Crosby vs. Ovi Hockey Game" in Scratch. These two 8th grade students used their extensive programming skills to develop an interactive, two-player game complete with puck drop, scoring and a lot of excitement.  Grab a friend and check it out here,
